Two weeks ago Emma lost her very first tooth. It caught me completely off guard because she had just BARELY turned five. I wasn't expecting the tooth fairy to visit our house until 5 1/2, at least. But alas, the tooth was wiggly and came out in just a few days. My baby really is growing up! That baby tooth was so teeny I almost cried. And you know what the weird part is? The same week Emma lost her very first tooth, Luke's very first tooth cut through the gum. It was a weird circle of life moment. Here's my toothless wonder:

And here's my babe sprouting his first pearly white. See the teensy weensy bit of white on the lower gum? I promise you it's there (just let him chew on your finger and you'll believe me).

A question for all of you bloggers: should the tooth fairy save all of the lost baby teeth or is that weird and gross?

Congrats Emma!! That is so fun - it brings back alot a fun memories!! I can't believe Luke has a tooth already - way fun!! I don't know how I feel about having the tooth fairy save them, it sounds gross but Ethan's will probably be saved!! But hint to tooth fairy remember to save them somewhere not to be found by the kiddos!!!
At our house the Toothfairy pays the kids to take the tooth- she loves to collect them you know!! Except for the first one- that one she leaves so they can show it in school and to all the friends and family. I don't know about you, but she is also paying a significantly higher amount for those teeth than she did for mine- I thought we were in a recession!!!!
I still can't believe she lost her first tooth! So crazy.
Wow what a mile stone. Audrey didn't lose till much later. congrats Emma. By the way I was told by the tooth fairy that saved teeth can actually rot and get really gross. She doesn't recommend saving them.
