Do you see what Rachel is holding? A picture of a kid at the beach! And we are headed there in August!!! It is official. We are actually going on a beach vacation! We surprised the kids with this news tonight through a treasure hunt, with the treasure being pictures of the beach in a wrapped-up box. The girls were so excited they could barely contain themselves! And I am right there with them! We are in for a solid week of sunning, swimming, sleeping, sand, and shells in Dana Point, CA (between Laguna Beach and Newport Beach). The beach is calling my name, baby!!! Anybody want me to bring them back some shells?

so excited for you!!!!!! love the ocean and beach....grew up by it so miss it terribly !!!! i want a shell..... hope you all have just a fabulous time...and relax and kick back for a week in the sun, sand and ocean!!!

How fun. I went to that area with my family when I was 16. Are you guys going to hit Sea World or Disneyland?
