My Awesome Kids

I just have to brag up my cute kids a bit.

Emma played with Rachel all morning--reading whatever books Rachel wanted to read, helping her stack a huge tower of blocks, helping her color with markers. And then at lunch Emma dragged Rachel's chair over close to her chair so that they could sit right next to each other (and I mean RIGHT next to each other) and then Emma kept giving Rachel bites of her yogurt. It was the sweetest!

Last night Rachel kissed Luke's head and said "I love Luke so much." And then she proceeded to name all the people she loved "so much."

This morning, Luke GIGGLED. Now I know he's only seven weeks old, but he really did giggle! He loves it when I sing with him and move his arms around. I was singing "Roll Your Arms" to him and he giggled! My heart was mush.

Oh, how I love my kids!

Weekend pictures

My dad got to be here for bedtime with the girls Friday night--snuggles on Emma's bed!

My little cutie

Daddy moment

Luke is about big enough to hold Rachel!

Sweet Ray Ray --she is my sunshine!

Luke is Blessed

Luke was blessed yesterday by his wonderful father. Thank you to all those attended and supported us! Luke has so much love in his life.

What great men Luke has to look up to!

The sleep-deprived parents!

The Grandmas (Granby--we wish you were in it too!)

My brother, Paul III with Paul IV

The main man! Look at his little tie!

Baby Luke

Some of the latest pics of Luke (oops--I almost typed Lukey--that's Emma's nickname for him and I've sort of adopted it too, poor kid)

He started surprising us with smiles two weeks ago--when he was three weeks old. It's the best! I tried to get a picture of him smiling but it was a little tough--the camera was too interesting. This was my best attempt.

lazy

Laundry's wrinkling up in the dryer, dirty dishes fill the sink, and a Relief Society lesson I need to plan and yet all I want to do is sit on the couch, be lazy, and maybe drink some hot cocoa. It's that kind of day. Sigh.

Turkey Time

For family home evening on Monday we crafted a "thankful turkey." It turned out pretty cute. It's so fun hearing what kids are thankful for, everything from dolphins to milk and cookies.

Fun site

Okay all you moms out there, I just found the coolest website: www.makeandtakes.com. This mom posts all these fun ideas and activities to do with your kids, as well as yummy recipes and crafts. Check it out!
Happy Halloween!

Our little froggy who was, not so long ago, a tadpole.

Our three little munchkins

You can't have Pooh without Tigger!

Did I mention Ariel stopped by our house on Halloween?

Hair looks a little hot pink in the photos, but I promise it was red. So red that I'm still washing red off my fingers and nails.

The great-grandkids all dressed up for a Halloween lunch at Sizzler. Thanks grandma!

Leaves, leaves, leaves!

These pictures were taken by the tree in front of our house. I love the red leaves!

I love Rachel's wink!

My beautiful daughters.

Hee Haw's

Last Saturday I took the girls to the local pumpkin patch/corn maze for some fun. It was great to get out of the house and enjoy the GORGEOUS fall weather. I had tons of fun with my girls.

Yep--this box is full of corn kernels. I wanted to dive right in and wallow.
