The Temple
We attended the Draper Temple open house last Saturday and it was a great experience. I was excited to be able to show Emma the inside of a temple. She's always asking me what it's like inside. So it was neat to be able to go through it with her and explain what happens when we go to the temple. Both Emma and Rachel loved the baptismal font. Emma wanted to go swimming in it and Rachel kept trying to sneak underneath the rope blocking the entrance to the font to "touch the water." It was an awesome day (oh, and did I mention the fun bus ride from the parking lot to the temple that the girls were thrilled with?). I'm glad the church provides open houses so that kids and people who aren't members can see what this great work is all about. We are so blessed to have so many beautiful temples close by.

I agree! I loved taking my girls to the Rexburg Temple last year! It was so fun to be with my children in the Temple! It will be really fun someday when we're there again for their ordinances!
We had fun there too. It's fun to see the kids reactions. What is it about a baptismal font to excite the young?
