If you know me well, you know how I am about TV. I'm not a big TV-watcher and I'm pretty selective about what shows I get into. Ben started watching Lost about a month ago (the first season, loaned to us from a friend) and has been trying to get me to watch it with him for weeks now. I kept saying "no, no, I don't want to get into it. It takes so much time to catch up--five seasons of episodes at 40 minutes each? Where am I going to dig up that kind of time?" Well, one bored night, I started watching it. I didn't particularly enjoy it for the first several episodes, but watching it made me want to watch more, just so I could see what happens. They leave you hanging at the end of so many episodes!!! Now that I know the characters better, I'm enjoying watching all the relationships develop. It's a very interesting show--a very intense show. My heart races sometimes while watching it--my blood pressure's probably through the roof! But I must admit, it's a good show and now Ben is happy that he has a Lost buddy.

Preschool Graduation
Emma graduated from preschool tonight. There was a program where the kids sang a bunch of songs and recited poems. It was adorable! There are so many darling kids in her class. And it was so fun to see Emma sing--it's one of my favorite things about Emma--how much she loves music.
The "doggie" song. Too cute!
Emma's teacher taught the kids how to do a special graduation walk (like a wedding march--left together, right together, etc.). It was so hilarious--I was dying laughing as I was videoing all the kids. Emma's walk was especially funny because her stride was so long. Look how far apart her feet are!

Can't believe she's off to kindergarten next year! I will miss her so much! Letting go is hard to do.

Proud
I'm so proud of this kid. We started potty-training (for real this time) 11 days ago. The first two days were awful and I thought, "what am I doing???" but I stuck with it and here we are, just 11 days later, and she has been accident-free for several days! Still having issues with Number 2, but that will come. For now, I'm just elated and so proud of my little sweetie! She's growing up so fast! Her reward for filling up her potty chart is a trip to the Lehi "bucket" pool tomorrow. We cannot wait!
