Mama's Day

We had a wonderful Mother's Day this year! We hosted Ben's family for dinner and enjoyed amazing food. Ben grilled steak and chicken, zucchini, and sweet potatoes. This was accompanied by various delicious side dishes our guests brought. We splurged and got the expensive T-bone steak and it was worth every penny. We all raved about how delicious it was. Good job Ben! It was a meal to remember. We had fun outside after dinner, even though it got chilly. A good day!
I really wanted to get a picture of me with the kids on Mother's Day, but it didn't happen. Just know I love those little ones with all my heart and enjoy being a mommy so much.

Ben and his mama.

The beautiful poster Emma made for me. This was accompanied by several handmade cards and pictures declaring her love for me. I'm so spoiled!

Don't you love Luke's little hands? They did this in nursery at church. I love it! Not sure why the picture is sideways, but oh well, you get the idea.

Check this out

I don't know how many of you have heard about Stephanie Nielson. She and her husband were in a plane crash a few years ago; Stephanie suffered burns over 80% of her body. And yet, she is still here today. I stumbled across her blog a few years ago and have been so touched by her experiences and her faith, especially as she mothers her four little ones. Watch this video and you'll walk away inspired and amazed. It was hard to stop the tears from flowing!

Jack-o-lantern

This kid lost her first top tooth! Doesn't she look adorable with her jack-o-lantern grin? Love it. Except she's growing up WAY too fast!

Spring

Blossoms--aren't they beautiful??

We hit up the park today, before this cold storm arrives. The kids were so happy!

Ben took the kids to Thanksgiving Point's Farm Country last Saturday along with every other family in Utah County. Ben said it was packed! Luke loved feeding the horses.

I love watching my kids play together. So sweet!

Dancing in the rain!

The girls are loving the trampoline this year, especially when grownups offer to jump them HIGH! Uncle Cameron's a good sport and always gives them a good time. We're going to miss him this summer; he's off to BYU's Jerusalem Center!

Cool new shades

The first picnic of the season! And it's always more fun when enjoyed with friends!

Little Mommy

This girls needs a baby. Not a Luke-sized baby, but a teeny newborn baby. She is the most gentle, loving, sweet little mommy to her baby doll April. And she can swaddle better than I can! Too bad it's going to be a few more years before we produce another Bergin baby. But when we do, I know he/she will be in good hands.

Emma on TV!

Emma was featured in a recent episode of KUTV's Roughing It Outdoors. Check out the video of the big rainbow trout she caught at Deer Creek Reservoir. Way to go Emma!

Emma's birthday/Cabin Time

Happy birthday Emma!

Emma got some wonderful presents: cute necklaces, games, books, clothes, etc. Thank you everyone!

I couldn't pass up this darling umbrella. Too cute!

Our good friends invited us to join them for a few days at a rental cabin in Morgan. We couldn't wait to go! We headed up Friday afternoon and enjoyed Emma's birthday dinner and cake at the cabin. The kids all had tons of fun running around, shrieking, coloring, playing games, playing hair salon, watching movies, eating, and petting the stray cat and her darling baby kittens that camped out on the back deck.

The awesome cougar skin. The kids were amazed and terrified all in one.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ping-pong table. We're such fans of ping pong!

Bill and the boys--aren't they adorable? (Yes, Bill, you're adorable too.)

Fooz-ball--is that how you spell it? Luke loved retrieving the ball each time it rolled down into the slot.

Lauren instructing Emma in the ways of a new Leapster game

Emma wanted to watch Tom & Jerry after dinner while munching on "Dad's famous popcorn."

It was a way fun 24 hours! We will most definitely have to do it again!
